Gone Wrong
Special agent Kwanjai “Kwan” Antrai goes undercover to recover some information from a hacker. Her ruse is quickly discovered, and she is left in a deathtrap. But that’s only the plot of Book One! Things go even further downhill from there.
The inspiration
Gone Wrong isn’t really a series, but is a six-part serial novel. I was curious about experimenting with this format, thinking I could put out more content at a faster pace. It was also inspired by the old movie serial format (such as The Perils of Pauline), where the heroine went from one danger to another.
Additionally, I got some inspiration from the American Damsels video, Action Lady Captured, which is quite apparent when you read the name of the primary antagonist for the serial. Kwan’s minsfortunes start with a simple deathrap and venture firmly into physical and sexual torture.
Due to the controversial nature of the material, and the fact it was a writing experiment, it was originally only available on my old, abandoned SubscribeStar page. However, the collected edtion of the story is now exclusively available in my Payhip store, or you can read the series in its original serial format over on Kindle Vella.
